The Meaning of Each Element
The 12 zodiac signs are coupled into four groups of three elements, which make up the existence and form of the world.
What is an element?
Seeing the world in terms of elements is a tradition that dates back many generations and spread out through many different cultures. Each element represents a basic principle of life. The elements that appear in your chart represents our underlying qualities, "the stuff we are made of."

Fire: energy and passion, bossy...Known for having a desire for life, the will to be and become. Tends to be spontaneous, enthusiastic and impulsive. Fire can "burn itself out" if it lacks a practical outlet for its high voltage energy. If expressed negatively, there is an over expression of outward self expression without considering others feelings resulting in egotism and selfishness. Inspire is lacking in someone's chart to cultivate courage passion and self confidence.
Air: thoughtful and smart... Represents the mind and communication. Tends to be the net workers of the zodiac, often connecting with diverse people, sharing new ideas and information. Typically intellectual, objective and socially inclined. Bringing the gift of detachment and perspective, having the ability to detach and step back from a situation and weigh the good and the bad, while seeing it from all angles with neutrality. If expressing negatively, there's a tendency of becoming cold and aloof. When are lacks in someone's chart, they are forced to develop another person's perspective and learn the ability to think logically.
Water: emotional and intuitive... Known for representing the realm of emotions. Extremely sensitive to the environment and are the feelers of the zodiac. in touch with not only their deep feelings, but with everyone else's and may even be psychic. Typically nurturing, compassionate, intuitive and resourceful. If expressed negatively they absorb other people's emotions point of feeling overwhelmed. Those who lacks water in their chart may have a hard time accessing their emotions and be insensitive to others feelings.
Earth: well-grounded and practical... Known for having their feet planted firmly and being the builders and producers of the zodiac, with an innate gift of bringing dreams into reality. The what are the structures and systems to establish comfort and security. If expressed negatively an unbalanced Earth signs will lean towards fear, materialism, stagnation, greed, and over indulgence. those who lack Earth in their chart may have to work harder in order to bring their ideas into their reality.
